Tea pack: Japanese Black + Silver Needle
For this year's entry to a deep winter we paired Organic Japanese Black and Silver Needle tea to resonate the sentiment of a peaceful atmosphere around a snowed-in landscape.
Our Japanese Black tea resembles winter farmland ready for a break after the year's growth and harvest. It is a rare Black tea produced in Japan where Green tea takes up the majority of tea production. 12 hours of fermentation at the end of process adds a unique nutty flavour and round character that highlights this Black tea that is one of a kind.
As delicate as snowflakes, Silver Needle tea is pleasant to watch as it is being brewed in a glass pot, just like watching snow fall through the window glass. It is subtle at first taste and gradually builds up towards the end with a peach-like aroma, ideal for a relaxing afternoon.
Each tea is individually packed for 25g. Coming in a handcrafted paper envelope created by Yijia Yang with a selection of handmade paper.
Organic Japanese Black: 3g (1 teaspoon) per 300ml cup, infuse at 90°C for 2 - 3 minutes.
Silver Needle: 3g (1 teaspoon) per 200ml cup, infuse at 100°C for 3 minutes.
