1st Flush Dragonwell

1st Flush Dragonwell
1st Flush Dragonwell

Made in the village of Mei Jia Wu, the leaves of Long Jing, also known as Dragonwell, are plucked just before the Qing Ming festival when they are young and delicate.

After harvest, the leaves are heated in pans and pressed into flat sword-like shapes. This tea brews a light yellowy-green liquor with fresh grassy aromas and hints of chestnut. The flavour is crisp and refreshing with an incredibly complex flavour profile.

Dragonwell has earnt its name as one of the finest Chinese green teas available. Brew in a tall glass to watch the leaves stand up on end while brewing.

Brew: Measure 3g (1 teaspoon) per 200ml cup. Infuse at 100°C for 3 minutes.
