Matcha Whisk & Scoop Set

Matcha Whisk & Scoop Set

This chasen and chashaku set comprises a handmade bamboo whisk and scoop, traditional tools used to make matcha tea.

The chasen whisk is carved from a single piece of bamboo cut many times to form a delicate utensil that enables you to create a deliciously foamy matcha.

The scoop is used to measure the right quantity of matcha powder into your bowl - two scoops is the perfect amount.

Origin: Kyoto, Japan
Care instructions: Place the bristles in hot water before each use, allowing them to soften slightly to prevent them from breaking. To clean, rinse with water and allow to dry naturally.
