Silver Needle
A highly prized and delicate Chinese white tea from Fujian province made only from the silver downy buds of the tea plant.
Plucked by hand and gently dried to retain the delicate flavour, this tea has honey aromas and notes of peach, dandelion and hay.
After harvesting, the tea goes through a withering process when it is laid out in the sun to dehydrate the leaves. This develops complex flavours and a sweet, succulent character.
Brew: Measure 2g (1 heaped teaspoon) per 200ml cup. Infuse at 80°C for 3-4 minutes
