Dong Ding Oolong

Dong Ding Oolong
Dong Ding Oolong

Harvested in spring in the Nantou district in Taiwan, this heavily oxidised oolong has a unique sweetness, with deep flavours of cacao, stone fruit and black cherry.

Like many teas from Taiwan this oolong takes its name from the mountain on which it grows, Dong Ding, translating as “frozen summit”. It is more heavily oxidised than the majority of oolongs from Dong Ding, so is darker in colour and more malty in flavour.

This tea has an incredibly complex flavour, a full body and lingering aftertaste, each infusion offering new floral notes.

Brew: Measure 3g (1 teaspoon) per 200ml cup. Infuse at 85°C for 2-3 minutes.
