Soho Blend is a creative blending project that allows us to share with our customers the flavours we are most inspired by each season.

Every year, the same cycle of seasons can bring new and exciting surprises. A cultivated herb might have a particularly good year or we may choose a wild herb that inspires us to create a new combination. Using both our scientific knowledge and intuition, it also allows us an opportunity to experiment and combine herbs in ways that we have not previously tried. 

This year we have made our most complex blend ever - to mark how we have had to navigate this complex world over the past two years. We were inspired by 15th Century illustrations that seem to depict how one could feel in balance, even during a time of crisis – with the flowering crown – a head held high; a lush green body – physical wellbeing; and strong roots – finding meaning and purpose.

This Soho Blend is made with 10  herbs from India, France, Greece, Japan and Lithuania.

Ingredients:

St John’s wort, Greek Mountain tea blossoms, Lemon Verbena, Ancient Mint, Dittany from Crete, Yarrow, Black Currant leaf, Amacha, Spicy Curcuma & Turmeric.

Size: Loose 30g

Brew: Simmer for 4-5 minutes at 95°C covered, strain and serve.
